Vice President - Bryan Stevens
Most of our club members will have heard about Bryan. His prowess in the culture of the beloved fuchsia is legendary. Not only is he good at talking about them, he can also 'deliver the goods'. Sid Ellis, the Show Secretary, has been unable to keep count of the number of times that Bryan's name has been announced as the winner in umpteen classes of the many shows that he has entered over the years. His sideboard must be buckling under the strain of having to support so many cups and trophies!
He was Vice Chairman 1981–1985, Chairman 1985–1993 and became Vice President in 1993.
Bryan and his wife Rosemary must surely be ambassadors for the club, for wherever they travel they are instantly recognised.
Bryan is also a B.F.S. accredited judge and as such has often been missing from the first day of our Show as he is miles away judging at another.
